Borrowed Art

After meeting with the folks from St. Patrick's Episcopal and learning about their art program, L'Art was excited about the possibility of borrowing their collection. Each year, volunteer members of St. Patrick's congregation create original works of art inspired by the "Stations of the Cross" and the "Stations of the Resurrection". After several years of this tradition, their collection has grown to the point that they are able to loan pieces out to churches interested in their display.

Molly worked with their "point" person, Rob Grove, who graciously assembled and transferred 21 pieces (one for each station) for us to borrow.

L'Art mounted the 14 "Stations of the Cross" pieces in the narthex of APC for Holy Week. For the first week of Easter, the 7 "Stations of the Resurrection" pieces were displayed.

In this picture, works by Joel Becker and Sue Davis can be seen in the foreground.
